THE AFFAIR #1

Η σειρά The Affair ασχολείται με το συναισθηματικό αντίκτυπο της εξωσυζυγικής σχέσης μεταξύ του Νόα Σόλογουεϊ και της Άλισον Λόκχαρτ (Ντόμινικ Γουέστ και Ρουθ Ουίλσον) που συναντιούνται στην παραθεριστική πόλη του Μοντόκ, στο Λονγκ Άιλαντ της Νέας Υόρκης. Ο Νόα είναι δάσκαλος στη Νέα Υόρκη και απόφοιτος του Κολλεγίου Williams, ο οποίος έχει εκδώσει ένα μυθιστόρημα και προσπαθεί να γράψει και ένα δεύτερο βιβλίο. Είναι σε έναν ευτυχισμένο γάμο με τέσσερα παιδιά, αλλά απεχθάνεται την εξάρτησή του από τον πλούσιο πεθερό του. Η Άλισον είναι μια νεαρή σερβιτόρα που προσπαθεί να ξαναφτιάξει τη ζωή της και το γάμο της μετά από το ξαφνικό θάνατο του τετράχρονου γιου της. Η ιστορία της σχέσης αποδίδεται από την προοπτική του Νόα και της Άλισον, οι προοπτικές είναι επηρεασμένες από την οπτική του καθενός[10].

Στην δεύτερη σεζόν η διήγηση επεκτείνεται περιλαμβάνοντας και τις οπτικές των δύο συζύγων τους, Έλεν Σόλογουεϊ (Μάουρα Τίρνεϊ) και Κόουλ Λόκχαρτ (Τζόσουα Τζάκσον), καθώς όλοι προχωράνε στη λύση των γάμων τους και αντιμετωπίζουν τις επιπλοκές[11].

Ο θάνατος του αδελφού του Κόουλ Σκοτ (Κολίν Ντόνελ) και η έρευνα της αστυνομίας και η δίκη που ακολουθεί, παρουσιάζονται με σύντομα «φλας» σε μελλοντικές σκηνές στο τέλος των περισσοτέρων επεισοδίων.

Η τρίτη σεζόν τοποθετείται τρία χρόνια μετά και περιλαμβάνει και ακόμα μία οπτική, αυτή της Τζουλιέτ λε Γακλ (Ιρέν Ζακόμπ), η νέα σχέση του Νόα[12].

Το Όζαρκ (αγγ.: Ozark) είναι μία δραματική, εγκληματολογικής φύσεως τηλεοπτική σειρά αμερικανικής παραγωγής η οποία δημιουργήθηκε από τους Μπιλ Ντιμπούκ και Μαρκ Ουίλιαμς για λογαριασμό της εταιρείας παραγωγής ταινιών και σειρών, Netflix. Στη σειρά πρωταγωνιστούν οι ηθοποιοί Τζέισον Μπέιτμαν και Λάουρα Λίνεϊ, ως ένα παντρεμένο ζευγάρι οι οποίοι είναι υποχρεωμένοι να μετακομίσουν μαζί με τα δύο παιδιά τους, στα Οζάρκ ώστε να ξεπλύνουν χρήματα για ένα μεξικανικό καρτέλ ναρκωτικών.
