The idea of the famous desktop keyboard Optimus with changing button icons and inscriptions gradually comes to the mobile sphere. Yuvee has introduced an interface called NeoKeys – the new keyboard version for mobile phones. It makes the phone interface easier, i.e. simpler launching of commands, number dialing and text input, there is an opportunity to switch quickly between the modes. Above the button rows are monochrome screens displaying functions assigned to the buttons.
When you press, for example, a side voice mail button, on the screen youʼll see all the commands for this function – save, delete, answer and so on. Respectively, by pressing other side buttons youʼll see corresponding commands – only for SMS, only for address book, only for camera and so on. Side buttons can be reassigned depending on the mode.
The company says, with this keyboard you donʼt need manuals, notes and multi-level menu. At the moment Yuvee is issuing licenses for vendors to use this interface.
